Fuel the Future
Fuel the Future is a competition put on annually by Global Partners open to any undergraduate or graduate engineering (or adjacent) student in the Northeast. In its inaugural year, and my sophomore year of college, a partner and I worked to meet the prompt of designing the "Fueling Station of the Future." Deciding to take a realistic and business driven approach, we conceived Clover, a large, freeway-based station with room for trucker recovery, hydrogen and gasoline fuel, and electric charging stations with private waiting rooms.

The Clover station design was voted a finalist, and my partner and I were invited to present at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation to a panel of Global Partners' judges, including the CEO. After presentations, we finished third place overall, earning recognition from the company and a monetary prize.
